Dr. Wael Chabaan have 16 years experienced neurosurgeon, Venezuelan by birth, Arabic, English and Spanish speaker, working in Abu Dhabi since 2017 where he is performing Minimal Invasive Spine Surgery, especially Endoscopic Spine surgery, becoming the pioneer of this technique in the region. During his career he have performed over 2000 surgeries, with more than 1500 have been under Minimally invasive technique and 600 endoscopic spine surgeries, being focused on this field of Spine surgery for the last 12 Years. I have supported and monitored specialists with less experience in minimal invasive surgery, and currently leading the Spine Endoscopy training program for Spine Surgeons in UAE, the First of its kind in the Region.
Dr. Abdullah Al Duwaisan obtained his medical degree from the University of Leeds, UK. He completed his residency training at the University of Ottawa in Orthopaedic Surgery. He is currently a spine fellow at the University of Calgary."

Dr. Nicandro Figueiredo is a leading Spinal Neurosurgeon with +24 years of experience in the field of neurosurgery and orthopedic surgery. Richard Assaker is a Professor in Neurosurgery at the Centre Hospitalier Regional Universitaire of Lille France. He graduated as Medical Doctor from Liege Medical University in 1983. He has been appointed hospital Doctor in 1992 and then became Professor at the University after getting his Ph.D. focused on biotechnology, at the University Lille 2 Law and Health in April 2001. He was elected to the collage of physician and surgeons of Pakistan councilor securing the highest number of votes in the country. Through his efforts AO Spine international Switzerland, the largest spine organization in the world, has awarded a full fledge chapter to Pakistan and Prof. Amer Aziz is its founding chairman. A member of board of governors of UHS (University of Health Science). The only spinal unit in Pakistan training Orthopaedic spinal surgeons in Pakistan is being run by Prof. Amer Aziz. Dr. Ahmed is the chairman of Saudi spine society, he is a consultant of orthopedics and spine in King faisal specialist hospital & research center Jeddah. He is a Founding member of Spine20 International Association.

Maestretti is an Orthopedic trained surgeon from the Hôpital Cantonal Fribourg University Hospital Fribourg in Switzerland. He joined the HFR back in in 2002 as head of the spinal unit of the department of orthopedics and since 2017 as chief physician of the HFR site and co-head of the department.
Jean Ouellet is the President, Co-Founder and Chief Medical Officer at Momentum Health. He is a Professor of Surgery at McGill University, Chair Of McGill Scoliosis & Spinal Research, clinical director of Adult and Pediatric Spine surgery at McGill University Health Center.

Ghassan Skaf, MD, FRCSC, FACS is a graduate of the Faculty of Medicine at Saint Joseph University, Beirut, Lebanon. He did his internship and residency training at University of California Los Angeles (UCLA), USA, University of Toronto, Canada and Cleveland Clinic Foundation, USA. He then completed a fellowship in Spinal Neurosurgery at University of Toronto, Canada. Dr. Skaf has been practicing since 1998 at the American University of Beirut Medical Center and he is the Head of the Neurosurgery Department since 2006 till today. Dr. Skaf is certified by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada and the American Board of Neurological Surgery. The research interests of Dr. Skaf are in Spinal Cord Injuries, Complex Spine Surgeries, Neuro Navigation, and New Innovations in Spine Surgery, Spinal Instrumentation and Minimally Invasive Spinal Surgeries.
Prof. Hussein is the dean of faculty of medicine in Azhar university,he obtained a master’s degree in orthopedics in 1996, then obtained a scholarship to obtain PHD in spine surgery from one of the biggest spine centers in Germany. The new dean of the Faculty of Medicine also participated in many researches and lectures in the field of spine in Egypt, Germany, and various countries of the world.
For the fourth year in a row, he supervised the organization of the spine surgery conference at Al-Azhar Medicine, with the participation of the German side and the spine departments of Egyptian universities. He supervised many master’s and doctoral theses in orthopedics and spine at Al-Azhar University and other Egyptian universities. He has made significant scientific contributions in the field of orthopedic and spine surgeries locally, regionally and internationally.

Imad Hashim Ahmad received his MBChB from Mosul Medical College in Iraq in 1977, and passed his Primary F.R.C.S. Examination, Final F.R.C.S. Examination, and F.R.C.S. (Neurosurgery) at the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh.
He is currently a Consultant Neurosurgeon at the Medical International Specialist Centre and is the Visiting Surgeon of the Mediclinic City Hospital , the Canadian Specialist Hospital & Burjeel hospital and Assistant Professor of Neurosurgery at Dubai Medical College. He is an Adjuvant Professor of Neurosurgery in Sharjah Medical College. He is an Ex President of the Emirates Neuroscience Society and in April 2012, he was elected to the position of Education Neuro for AO Spine Middle East. He is currently is an education advisor for the AOSpine middle East. He is a reviewing editor for the The Global spine Journal.

He has performed many successful surgeries and important diagnostic procedures. Dr. Sami obtained a bachelor’s degree in medicine and surgery from the College of Medicine at King Saud University in 2004, and received a board certification. in orthopedic surgery in 2010. He also obtained a spine surgery fellowship from the University of Turin in Italy, in 2013, and held many administrative positions.
An Arab Board Certified Orthopedic Surgeon specializes in the treatment of complex spinal conditions, including spinal injuries, vertebral tumors (internal diseases), deformities in adults and children, scoliosis, and severe degenerative diseases. He also specializes in invasive and complex open minimally invasive spine surgeries. His training program included orthopedic surgery, and he then received certified training in pediatric and adult spine.
Dr. Al Kuwari completed his studies at the Faculty of Medicine of the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland, then worked as a resident physician in the Orthopedic Department at Hamad Medical Corporation. Dr. Al Kuwari completed a two-year complex spine surgery fellowship at the University of Western Ontario in Canada, then obtained a master’s degree in spine biomechanics from the same university.
